Thank you so very much for the wonderful gift you gave my this holiday season. Finally

After years of pain, numerous surgeries and embarrassment in public I was very lucky to

find you. You have done an amazing work. (Just wish I’d met you years ago.)

I was very nervous to come to see you the first time because you sounded so young on

the phone. I had no idea how terrific you were and feel very happy I took a chance.

Most patients of yours probably don’t realize how lucky they are to be under your care.

You are an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person too. It was almost like a dream to

watch how you truly enjoy your work, pay attention to every tiny detail, consider so

many possibilities before you choose the perfect one. I loved to hear you say “perfect”.

It’s going to look PERFECT.” You answered zillions of questions I had with patience

and a smile. You even came to see me on your day off after the surgery to make sure

I was not in pain or scared. I’ve never met a plastic surgeon as caring and comforting

as you. I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.

You are also a great artist, a sculptor, a creator of beauty. Seeing just some examples of

your art I know you have so much to be proud of and I am very grateful you chose me

to be the material for one of your masterpieces.

P.S. one memory that’s carved in my mind forever is what I last remember before

my surgery. I was so terrified lying on the operating table with all those machines

and instruments. You came over, held my hand and smiled. You told me everything

without words, just that sweet, warm smile. I was slowly drifting into sleep feeling safe and

knowing everything was going to be “perfect”.

Dear Dr. Wardle,

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much I appreciate

everything you have done for me. The first time I met you, I thought I would just check

out the eye surgery. Thank goodness you could see how much I really needed done.

Your sincerity and caring along with all your Nurses, Anesthetist and yes, your

office staff was great. I was never afraid because you and your staff gave me

so much confidence that this was the right thing to do.

I never thought that I would be able to have a surgery like this, so my dream
